Simple, reliable, everywhere. EventBridge Scheduler also fixes Workers' UTC-only cron problem when the schedule lives on AWS.

## Use it when

- Routing AWS and application events to targets by content.
- Schedules with time zones (EventBridge Scheduler), including starting Fargate tasks.

## Provisioning

Official Pulumi package · Official Terraform provider

@pulumi/aws cloudwatch.EventRule / scheduler.Schedule.

## Where it fits

- [Background jobs and retries](https://cloudlesslabs.com/stack/use-cases/background.md): pick 3. Routing and schedules.
- [Event-driven plumbing](https://cloudlesslabs.com/stack/use-cases/events.md): pick 1. Routing: send each event to whoever cares, by its content. Schedules too.
- [A job that runs for hours](https://cloudlesslabs.com/stack/use-cases/long-job.md): pick 2. Scheduler starts the task, with time zones.
