Gotchas, with fixes
Gotcha: The unscoped npm package postmark-mcp was malware that BCC'd every email to an attacker.
Fix: If you use Postmark with agents, the official package is @activecampaign/postmark-mcp.
Provisioning
Pulumi via a Terraform provider · Community Terraform provider
Community provider, last released 2023.
Use instead
Resend: transactional and marketing on one platform, with idempotency keys and signed webhooks.
Alternatives
- Resend Always, for me.
Where it fits
- Sending email: Don't.
The best deliverability reputation, but no marketing platform, so you'd run two email vendors. Resend does transactional and marketing in one, with idempotency keys and signed webhooks.
Instead: Resend
